Today in the R.E. class that I teach, we talked about the bible and the basic history behind it.
It was very disheartening because I learned that most of these high school-aged kids don't know how to read the bible. Honestly it made me sad. They have been through their first communion and reconciliation, but don't know that there is an old testament and a new testament. It's ridiculous. Eek.
However, I hope to fix that. :)
