(no subject)
have 1st bout of bronchitis for this school year.
should have gone to the dr Wed, but the boss would not let me leave b/c my request for a sub for a half day, which was placed at 7:30am, was not picked up. There were ways my class could have been covered, but she wouldn't allow it. Therefore I took ALL of thursday off. Had I been allowed to leave Wed, that would have been all I missed of work this week. Dr's office even gave me a work excuse that would allow me to be out on Friday, if I want. However, I've guilted myself into being responsible.
Slept all day. Now needing to sleep tonight, but not falling asleep.
In addition to the bronchitis, I've got to get a toenail removed. THAT IS NO FUN! You remember when I said I tried to tear off my toenail the hard way? Well, here we are a month later and my toenail is hurting again...and is showing signs of infection. *sobs* Boss isnt' going to be happy when I have to miss likely 3 days b/c my doc only does procedures like that on Wednesdays...and I'm not going to try to stand on it for the next couple of days afterward. the pain with that is horrific!
I'm going to see if I can postpone it a few weeks, if the antibiotics I'm taking for the bronchitis will help with it. *fingers crossed* I've missed at least one day every week since school started, except the very first week and the 3rd week...
