Mysteriously numb.

Yesterday, after breakfast in Elizabethtown, KY (Cracker Barrel as per usual when we travel; I had to correct the girl on my order since she was overcharging me on my ham ...  anyhow ...), I noticed that the right side of my face was numb-- more specifically the ear and the small area of the face around it. I mentioned it to Mom and she suggested it could be a pinched nerve since I had just been sleeping in the car. I've been trying to fix my neck since last night , but my ear is still a little numb. Weird.

Before we left for Mississippi, Amanda requested a new hat for Mikey since he is bigger this year than last year, obviously, and he's getting a new coat. I reckon the kid is big enough for a scarf too, so once I have the colors she wants, I can take care of that. Lyndsey now knows what she's having, a girl to be named Amelia Claire, and I got some yarn to make a baby blanket-- a small pink, white, and purple/pink baby granny square afghan, stroller size-- and I found a pattern for a bonnet that looks like it's be quick to make. And that's all the knitted/crocheted gifts I plan on making this year for the winter time.  I might finish my Danica scarf this winter, it's about half done, if I remember right. I'll be pretty busy in the upcoming months, so we'll see.
