Life Stuff.
So ... there is so much happening right now. Semester is ending (yes!) and I'm not longer freaking out about my homework situation ... next week will be pretty tight, but I'll manage. As usual, there's drama galore back home, and some of the drama has found me all the way in GR. Awesome ... I live for other people's drama. Although "my drama" is about to be dropped like a sack of potatoes.
I found this: A linguistic t-shirt that is grammatically incorrect. Sick should be: /sIk/, not [sic]. There is no /c/ phoneme ... and /i/ would make /sik/ = seek. /sIk/ = sick. Yes! I've learned linguistics!! My suffering was not in vain, and now I can be pretentious in even more scenarios.
My computer is "on the verge of death"-- I feel it coming. It's beeping at me and is doing very deathly things. I'm going to have to buy a new computer within the next month or so. I'd hate to lose five years worth of work (novels, poetry, paintings, etc) because technology is very, very evil.
Meaghan and I went and saw "Run Fat Boy Run" last night-- hilarious. Loved it.
