If there's something to say, then say it for everyone to hear.

I woke up this morning and was surprised to see the bathroom was clean. After a shower and getting dressed I had another surprise in store for me. My mind was focused on some cocoa pebbles and some hot, fresh coffee, and as I came into the living room I saw a pillow on the floor. Okay, whatever. Then I see Ashley's mom on the couch ... she seemed unnerved by my presence. I don't know why. I ate my cereal as I waited for the coffee to brew, after I poured myself, I asked Ashley's mom if she'd like some coffee, and she said no.  ... I've never known a mom to pass up coffee.  Weird. After I had my coffee and seeing small talk was not a possibility with the mom, I went to my room to check my email.  I then hear Ashley and her mom arguing over something ... If you're gonna fight, go ahead and fight, right? Oh well. I miss my mom, and I know that if it had been her on the couch she would have been super chatty and all over some coffee.

Four days till I'm home.

Last night when I was working I was told that there was a card for Andrew, who used to work with me on Monday mornings ... but he got sick and is having surgery soon. I was one of the few people who actually worked with Andrew, so I was excited about the card ... but the card might be in the mail already. I'm kind of sad that I didn't get to sign it, and I'm going to check today if the card has been sent or not. If it has I'm going to get a card and send it to him. No big.

Last night I wrote 3,000 words in the novel. Yay!! My goal today is 4,000 ... and I need to start my papers. Boo. My novel is coming up on the action, so I'm really excited for some chaos and drama. Already I have over 28,000 words and 52 pages.
