So, the first half of my day went very well. I was actually able to eat something. And there was some good stuff on TV. (ZULEMA GOT KICKED OFF LAST NIGHT! YAY!)
But then the phone rings. Someone in the house picks it up before I could. I go downstairs to see who it is and my mom meets me half way. It's one of my husbands, David. I'm happy because I haven't spoken to him in FOREVER and I figured he might want to hang out for awhile. Nope. The first thing he says to me is "Asia, I want a divorce." My immediate reaction is "WHAT!? WHY?!" "This marriage isn't working" "Well, I refuse. I don't want it." "I have grounds!" "Oh yeah? What are they? Is this because of Flannery?!" and he goes "No, it's not because of Flannery. My grounds are that you never talk to me or never see me anymore." More surprised noises from me. You see, I hadn't really talked to him as of late because well 1. I don't think his girlfriend (Oh god, I don't even know if they're even still going out anymore.) likes me at all. And 2. I've been slightly busy and I have a very reoccuring problem of forgetting things often. I mean, I have our marriage certificate stuck up on my wall right in front of me right now. And I see it everyday and I think about him, but I never remember to call him. Or anybody for that matter. OH! HE never was on AIM either. But then again, I guess I could have taken time over winter break to call him or walk the block to his house. Anyways though, back to the distressing news. I kept refusing and he said he would send papers over to my house. And I still refused. And he hung up. My first thought was to call Jared. So I told my mom what happened and said I needed to call my lawyer. I went upstairs to grab my cell phone. Called Jared, but no answer. So, I think he may be on David's side for this. Must find new lawyer.
And some carrots.
