Being at home is fun, but I desperately miss my Fourth Floor Folk.
We got our tree today, and I had some good laughs with my fam, but not the laughs I had with Ashley the other night, nor the laughs I had with Kitty and Chels on our date on Thursday night. I am coming to realize more and more that my friends will be my family for a few years.
Christmas won't be Christmas this year. It will be a milestone to pass through on my way back down to school, to be with the people I also love. It will also be a milestone, marking the halfway point of my time at home with my Ashley. My only hope is that she can come down and visit more often, and that I can come up and visit too.
I snatched a free book from Smith Family that had 400 pages of paintings of wildflowers. I disemboweled the book, and I have set aside the best frames in rainbow order, and will soon be tacking them up on the naked wall behind my bed. I am excited. It should look bitchin'. I'm gonna go complete this now.
Sigh...I am keeping myself busy so that I won't be lonely. But, it creeps up occasionally.
