OK, I need to point you to a friend of mine... her name is Sherry and her LJ is Sidhefire I am participating in an Artists Book Circle and at the end of our circle we'll be having a showing at The Night Kitchen. I REALLY think that you two would hit it off famously (she is a pottery/sculpture artist mainly) and she may be able to use your talents in promoting our Book Circle show (not going to conclude for a year I think based on how long it is taking for each of us to complete our pieces and pass them onto the next artist! LOL! Not to mention she is starting her own art business and could REALLY use your class! Just tell her I sent you! (Oh I think she submitted for SEAF this year so you may end up meeting her anyways!)
Also have you ever met Becky (LJ: inaurolillium) is the owner of The Night Kitchen (216 Stewert, down by Pike Place) and she has artists work on display in her restaurant. She "may" (I don't know for sure) be able to use some of your talents in promoting the art that is on display there a bit better? Again, I dunno since I have not talked to her in a few days.
Just wanted to cast the networking net for you.
The artists in my circle would probably really benefit from the above mentioned workshop so can you shoot me the details when solid and I will pass them onto them?!

Wow, thanks so much for the rich ideas and contacts here. I don't know the people you mention so would love to do so in the next few months. I don't have a good sense on timeline yet but should by end of January. Thank you again and look forward to expanding my artist circle of contacts! *hugs*

Stop on by The Night Kitchen (directions, reviews and such on Yelp) and visit with Rebecca... she is a riot! Let her know that you are a member too!
Sherry doesn't make it out northward as often but maybe we can schedule a day for the three of us to chat at TNK and I can intro you all to each other?! (I already went to her LJ and posted something introducing her to you too since she recently made a post about starting her art business!)

Thank you and yes, a chat at TNK would be wonderful. Schedule is wonky the next week but opens up after that. :) Thane & I hope to get to TNK sooner, though. I've been reading the positive reviews and can't wait!
