Hm, during my days in Orange County (that's near LA), hooking up online was EXTREMELY popular and normal, in fact a lot of people found gf, some wifes, just like that. I project that very soon most people, at least a large fraction, will meet like that. Cali, as usual, will lead the rest :). For some reason people over 20 think there's something wrong with dating via the internet, but I think it's a great idea for many, just like cell phones!
Now, having said that, i believe that our dear queen should adjust her criterea a bit, choosing based on ethnicity is a bit off. How about someone rich, generous, a good cook, and likes children and doing laundry? Huh?

I don't agree with that. may be some people are too busy with their lives and interenet dating is so easy and convenient and fast!or may be it can be out of curiousity to try smth new...let's say me.I don't go out much and I find online meeting amuzing rather than waste of time..and it's almsot like in real life..I give the person my email ,later my phone# and then we meet..so it's all normal to me..

Hm, i am wondering whether your friends not long ago communicated by a series of grunts and clicks, and when did all the hair start to fall out and how exactly did they acquire the facility of speech? Anyway, there is progress for everyone, the only difference is how fast (or slow) it happens.
My point was that Internet is a tool to that can be used to achieve certain goals. Which tool you use, as long as it's legal, is FAR less relevant as to what goal one sets for herself. So there you go...
