So the college life began.
I was in International Student Orientation the whole day today, met many people who are in the similar situation, talked, laughed my head off, and was happy. I cannot wait to meet more people- my roomey is moving in tomorrow and I am excited!
I lofted my bed- my two RAs and people from welcoming freshmen organization or something came and helped lofting it. Oh my... wasn't that interesting. We could not make the bed fit on bookshelf+drawer somehow so we spent more than half an hour trying to figure out what we were supposed to do. We finally managed to lift my bed. Sleeping on it, however, was more of an adventure than anything else. I got scared to death, sleeping on it last night. I got slowly used to it....but it is making this rickety sounde very time I move. SCARY. SERIOUSLY.
Meeting new people also reminded me of looking back at friendships I had with my friends. I am mostly content with what I have right now- but very few definitely needs some sort of resolution.
My parents just asked me what I am going to do over the winter vacation. I said back to RI and they were quite surprised.
My room is on the forth floor, looking down the football field...they are very loud tonight. Ahhhh.......
