He's No Mug....
Although I can now say that he features on one - in fact on more than one!
Hunting through my cupboard for a clean mug I realised that I have McGyver mugs, Stargate SG1 mugs, a whole array of Doctor Who and Doctor Who related mugs but I didn't seem to have a Rupert mug.
A short trawl of the wonders of the World Wide Web failed to produce what I was looking for and so I set to designing one of my own.
The first effort was of course the by now famous 'It's A Drugs Bust' scene from SIP and resulted in this:
So far so good!
And for a month or two I've been happy wearing the matching T-Shirt and drinking out of the mug.
Oh...didn't I mention the T-Shirt....that came first. Months before the mug and back in the days when we had weather nice enough for me to be seen out in it.
Then I decided that another mug was in order - so I went back to my friends at The Personalised Printing Company - with three photos . My all time favourite (so far) shot of Rupert, one of Scudder and one of Lestrade and the phrase 'Tell us about Rupert Graves and - and they came up with this:
The photos don't really do the mug justice - it is bright and shiny and hasn't been empty since I got it!
I only wish I'd told them what order to put the photos in because I thought it didn't matter and it does....still I'm SO pleased with it that I wanted to share.
