I just ran down to the store real quick and on my way back I see a deer that has been hit by a car and apparently had broken one or more legs and was trying to stand up and walk into the field but kept falling down. I looked into that poor animal's eyes and wondered why no one was around. I called the police. They will shoot it no doubt. How can someone hit such a beautiful animal and just drive away? Not even check to see if it is ok ...
