"i'm trying to get you fat"

i like being on afternoons again
i get to sleep in
plus simply having the same schedule four days in a row is really awesome
and of course not being on patrol anymore is great
if only i could get this wedding sorted out to my mom's satisfaction
because, seriously, she is against every single thing
and she is just so negative, all the time
she sent me some pictures of dresses but she doesn't say "do you like them?" no, she says "just tell me if you hate them"
because of course, she has to assume that i'll hate them
i guess in her world, everyone hates things without thinking and only gradually realises that things are actually nice
she should visit the real world sometimes, innocent until proven guilty, things are nice unless there's an actual problem with them
i'm sure i'm ranting but she just makes me so angry
it's as though she's purposefully trying to ruin this for me, make me as miserable as she is
