Summary: Sayaka once invited Mami over to her place, and since everything should be normal now, it's time for that to happen.

Kyoko heard the knock and blinked a little bit. Sayaka had mentioned something about inviting Mami over, but Kyoko couldn't remember if she'd ever specified when. Who else would be knocking, though? Getting up from lounging around on the couch, she went to answer the door.

[For all the preparation Sayaka did, she probably forgot to actually say that this was happening right now. Hopefully this wouldn't be held against her.]

[Mami sucks in a breath and carefully composes herself before Kyouko reaches the door, putting on a bright - and honest - smile. In her hands is a small package of cookies she asked the birds to bring her, enough for all of them to have a good handful.]

[Sayaka doesn't have to worry about her slip in letting Kyoko know when this was gonna happen. Kyoko is in a pretty good mood right now, if a lazy one, so everything should be fine. She opens the door and gives Mami a nod of acknowledgement and a small smile; okay yeah her assumption was correct. She may not entirely trust Mami, but a while back she did agree to attempt friendship, so she'd hold up her end of that agreement.]

Oh, hi. Guess she meant you were coming right now, then. Come in.

[One was happy, one was lazy, this one was... really nervous. She was over in the kitchen area next to where the couches and table was, but she knew what was obviously going on.]

Hi, Mami-san. Sorry this couldn't happen a lot earlier, but we weren't exactly ready for company until recently.

[headedforhope]

[For all that she tried to prepare herself, her smile still falters just a little bit when she actually sees Kyouko.] Ah, thank you. [For a moment, she looks to be on the verge of saying something more...but then Mami just swallows it, returns the nod, and brushes past Kyouko into the house.]

Hm? It's all right, Sayaka-san - don't worry about it.

[Kyoko shrugs at the brushoff and shuts the door, following closely behind. She doesn't say anything more yet lest whatever it is be insulting; she doesn't like breaking agreements like that, and furthermore it would upset Sayaka.]

Anyway... take a seat, I'll be ready in just a moment.

[Is it stalling if you really have to wait?]

Oh, don't rush on my behalf!

[Mami indeed takes a seat! And offers Kyouko the cookie package.]

Ah...here. I figured it'd be rude to come empty-handed.

[Kyoko eyes Mami warily before taking the package and curiously unwrapping it. Part of her is surprised that there's no passive aggressive note included or anything like that.]

...Ah, thanks.

[And of course Kyoko can only resist food for so long. She takes a cookie and nibbles on it.]

I can't really rush this anyway.

Anyway... how have you been?

[She doesn't try to take a cookie for herself, merely interlinks her fingers and rests them in her lap.]

I've been fine, thank you. And yourself? Mm, Sakura-san?

[A nod to the hobo: how have you been, too?]

[The hobo in question finishes off the remainder of her cookie in one quick bite, then leans back on the couch.]

Good. It's really nice here, I love it. Especially havin' my own place like this. I didn't think it was my style, but turns out it's pretty enjoyable.

Yeah, your style is sleep on the floor in an arcade.
