[A moment, and there is the voice of- presumably- a young woman on the other end. Hinted throughout her tone is a strange mixture of irritation, confusion, oblivious care, and, even worry.]
I never quite expected to be placed within such a... quaint area. Is this a ploy of the enemy, of the Nine Days?
[A pause, she obviously heavily considering the matter.] No, it can't be. Impossible.
[And then, quitely, almost inaudible, a whisper of desperation:]
