Apparently, we're in some freaky Gardens, and there's no immediately obvious way out.

... Whoever did this kidnapped us from, presumably, different directions, but left our stuff in neat little piles right next to us. Instead of just, you know, leaving our clothes on.

Of course, I couldn't get my most valuable tools...

This feels like one of those video games where you're in this weird world and you have to explore for upgrades to get anywhere...
