First Song ☠ [ Video & Action]

[One word can easily sum Marceline up at the moment: Ouch. Her back is tied in knots and her throat is raw. Then again, what should she expect given that she had screamed herself into unconscious some unknown amount of hours or even days ago? Once she numbs up, emotionally and physically, she is going to say that it was the most awesome thing ever ( Read more... )

*Reimu just happened to be flying overhead when she heard the shout. She flies down to spot the blue girl.*

Looks like you've been in the cold to long. Let me take you to my shrine so you can warm up.

*Reimu has not noticed she's a vampire yet. Enjoy her being friendly while it lasts.*

[Cold for too long? Marceline thinks on that and comes up with nothing, no idea what-so-ever. Hoarse from screaming and having not a drop to drink she croaks her answer.]

Maybe I have? U..uhm, thanks. That would be awesome.

[Well, nothing good lasts forever, right? Civility typically is the first to go. Too weak and hurt to argue, she opts to follow along. Questions and finding her things can come later.]

Yeah, thank you.

Well, you are blue enough to be dead.

*She walks towards her shrine, that isn't too far from here.*

It's a shrine maidens duty to help the people in need.

Really? That is kind of cool! I mean, this is just a little bluer than normal.

[The cold sucks, like super sucks though. Marceline follows after, hitting her arms in an attempt to warm up.]

Okay, back a step. Shrine Maiden?

Bluer then normal?

*Still not clicking yet, but reimu's cogs are turning*

Yes, shrine maiden. You someone who also never heard of on before?

Yeah, It's kind of a genetic thing.

[Stuffing her hands into the pockets of her jeans the blue woman seems terribly normal, even kind of nonchalant.]

Maidens I've heard of, we have a whole bunch of them where I'm from. But Shrine Maidens, I don't think so.

I see...

*Suspicious Reimu is suspicious.*

Why is it that other places don't know what a shrine maiden is? It's getting annoying.

It's no big deal or anything, right?

[Walking has warmed her up enough to where talking doesn't make her jaw click.]

Places are as different as the people that live in them, you know? What does a Shrine Maiden do?

Sorry, missed this notif nekomikoreimu December 20 2011, 16:12:59 UTC
No... not really.

A shrine maiden protects her shrine, and her worshipers. I myself also protect the land of Gensokyo from Youkai and incidents most likely caused by them.;

Awesome!

┫Marceline listens intently, bobbing her head in rhythm to Reimu's words.┣

That all sounds super important! So you're a woman of faith or something? Haven't met one of you in a while! Although I've never heard of Gensokyo or Youkai either...

Not many people know of Gensokyo unless you are from it. And Youkai are demons and monsters, like werewolves, trolls, oni, and vampires.

That makes sense though. The world is a big enough place without thinking about the possibility of, you know, places and things beyond that.

┫She slows down a little, feeling suddenly cautious herself.┣

If you have to protect against them, I'm going to guess that you don't like them much.

I don't dislike like them, I just don't like them either. Could say I am neutral about them.

I guess that is better than all out hate and junk. Although when you're in the middle you're pretty close to either side, right?

I don't know about that. Very few people I hate. One of them used to be here. Her name was Tenshi, a Celestial that loved to destroy my shrine just so I could fight her. Everyone else seems ok compared to her.

I'd probably hate someone like that if I had to deal with that kind of junk too.
But hate is a really harsh word anyway.
