[Hello citizens of the Gardens. Today is the day that this doctor has found herself here in your midst. And she is not pleased about it, oh no.]
[There is a dark scowl on her face as she addresses the mirror, a face that could have been quite beautiful if it wasn't for the huge scar running diagonally across it. Also if you happen to notice, the

Oh, there's no way out, my dear. [Kuja smiles.] All of us have our work to do or our destinies to fulfill, and most have our reasons not to be here, but not all the demands in the world will free you from this place. You might as well resign yourself, either to acceptance or resistance. You may find yourself an area or a residence without flowers, if they irk you so.
No one here has asked for your services, I'm sure, whatever they might be.

[Everyone keeps vaguely talking about things like she should know about them, but at the same time they don't tell her anything at all. Frankly it's getting irritating.]
Where are we and what is going on?!
[She practically growls that part out. Ooh, someone is so not a happy camper.]

Can you not read? Missives are provided, with the necessary information. Most who arrive have the sense to read them, or at least to ask for assistance politely.
There are many persons here, not only humans. They range from the weak and meek to the powerful and cruel. You should take care in how you speak to strangers, when you know not what they are or of what they are capable. I myself am a poet, no warrior or monster, but I feel I should share that warning, as a kindness. [She likes introducing herself as a poet. It may be technically untrue, but she believes it, in a way.]

I stopped when things started to get absolutely ridiculous. That's a cute trick though, with the cats.
[Black Jack is a woman of science, and won't believe anything she hasn't seen for herself.]
Alright, madam poet, what do you mean by 'not only humans'? Unless dogs and monkeys suddenly gained rights within the last twenty-four hours, I don't remember anything being more dangerous than humanity.

The cats have nothing to do with me.
I mean gods and monsters, spirits and constructs, and intelligent beings from other species. I myself am not human. Are you from one of those narrow little worlds where humans only speak to other humans?
Reply
I've known people who could be rightly called monsters or though to make themselves into God, but they where human all the same. And you certainly look human enough.

I resemble a human now, yes. [She rises up into the air easily, until she is floating several feet above the ground. There she repositions herself into a seated position, sitting comfortably on nothing at all.] But I assure you, there is not an ounce of humanity in me. [She smiles again.]

Alright. That's a new one.
[There's still some lingering doubt, but she didn't survive this long by just throwing her trust out left and right. But other forms of life. Okay. Let's roll with this.]
What exactly do you identify as, then?

I am unique, so why should I have a species name? There are no others like me. I am Kuja.
The Queen who has brought us here is herself assuredly not human. You'll find many things are quite different here.

...figures. Nothing is ever simple. I don't suppose this 'queen' would have an audience with a human like me?

She doesn't grant audiences to any, regardless of species. She has appeared in person once or twice, and occasionally she shows her face on the Vine, but I wouldn't expect to receive any useful information to her.
