It's rather unlikely. It's called Gensokyo. It's a nation known as "Japan", on a planet called "Earth" if those names mean anything to you.

It sounds somewhat familiar. But it's been so long since I've been on a planet... I've only sailed by on... On my ship. The Observatory.

Yes. Or I was, until I came here. I don't suppose I can still travel into space from here, is there?

There is a barrier that prevents sky travel from above a certain point.

That's not terribly hard in some places. I've certainly been confused about the true direction of gravity. The universe never fails to find ways to surprise me.
