[she goes to sit on the veranda, legs dangling above the ground, waiting for Vivio to sit before she takes her first bite. Eating ice cream with friends. It's one of her favorite things, but she hasn't done it since she came here. The time was never right.]

[but now, it's to cheer someone up. She won't be picky.]

I used to eat it all the time at home, but I didn't know until recently. You know the library? All of a sudden there are all these recipe books there! And sea salt ice cream was in one of them.

[she's clearly excited about this.]

You put eggs, and milk, sugar, cream, vanilla and salt all together, and then you freeze it. It took me a few tries to get it right, though. Someday I want to make a lot so everyone can have some.
