[ Excellen has taken up home in the onsen--partly because she took a liking to Signum and a few other inhabitants and mostly because it's, well, an onsen.
Likely coming as a surprise to most anyone, Excellen has managed to squeeze in considerable amounts of investigatory time in between appearing to goof off and chat with anyone she encounters. Despite the appearance of the setting and the many claims regarding the Queen, Excellen has very, very strong doubts that the sole purpose of this place is to foster romance.
Because, frankly, that's pretty crazy! One would think god-like beings would have better things to do.
Despite the doubts, she has found very little information about...anything, really. The library is totally useless for anything beyond entertainment and whatever areas she visits--the pagoda, the ruins, et cetera--she finds nothing she can discern as being important, aside from writing she cannot read. The only comfort she has found in her research is that the likelihood of this world or anything within it being related to the Einsts is very, very low--which does little to console her.
It sure would be nice if Major Gilliam were here. He always knows something about everything and pops up when everyone's confused as heck, like some suave purple deus ex machina. I get the feeling he won't be showing up HERE anytime soon, though.
Tck. I might not be in the intelligence division, but I know I'm better than THIS. C'mon, Excellen, think! Hrrrph. This world might have had some big war, what with the ruins everywhere, but considering how crazy the queen seems and how easy they make stuff, they could have just as well made all these ruins LOOK ruined.
Well, I've only got two leads, even if they're not much: the possibility of everyone being here due to sharing a common trait and that OTHER queen around here. ]
Hello there, ladies and gentleladies! Anyone who happened to miss my stunning introduction, let me introduce myself: I'm Excellen Browning, Lieutenant of the Earth Defense Force--er, I guess an Earth Defense Force, technically. Anywho, just call me Excellen!
I've got a few requests for you all: first, I want you all to give a warm welcome to Lat! She's a good girl and a bit shy. Also be sure to welcome my new sisters, Kaguya and Vita! Everyone get along and be friends, you hear?
With that behind us, does anyone know anything about this 'Echidna' figure? Some sort of scaly, spooky queen hidden deep down underground? If anyone knows anything special about our very own Queen of Hearts and her buddies, that'd be appreciated, too!
Oh, and beware of talking to any toothy-grinned kitties.
