[The Vine slithers in to show a somewhat empty apartment. The only remains are a coffee table, a couch, and what looks like the light breaks of a curtain and the shadow of a bed in another room not far off. It's unclear whose apartment this is, but it's obvious where it is.]
[There's the light click of heels against the wooden floor-if one listens, they may sound a bit solemn-and the end of a dress gently swishes past the vine. It pans up to show the owner of the complex, Gabrielle Monsigny, as she tends to the apartment. At first, it seems as if she does not regard the vine's persistence to show the small moment in her life, but as she goes to the kitchen to wash some of the dishes in the sink, it seems as if she has known it was there all along.]
[Gabrielle runs the hot water, watching the steam rise.] There are two different kinds of people who effect your lives. Those who are cold and care nothing about anyone's feelings but their own. Ones who destroy lives carelessly-who use others for their own gain and then toss them away like puppets when they've obtained what they needed to.
[She begins to wash the dishes, gently pulling away a bit from the scalding water. It takes a moment for her to adjust, but she begins to rinse the dishes, using a cloth to rid of any excess food.] Who don't care about others thoughts-emotions. Their own personal gain for some impossible utopia they're trying to obtain. [With how she regards this, it seems she knows someone like that very well.] Not caring who they take down, or rather, not caring who they take down with them.
[Turning the sink off, she dries the dishes with another cloth, then places them in a small rack to dry. She turns to the coffee maker, noticing there's a bit of coffee still left over. Her eyes lower for a moment as she contemplates something.]
Then there are people that you find who you can trust with your entire being, who shares the same kindness and reception toward others. Someone who's loyal to what they love, dedicated to what they do. [She turns to head into the bedroom. The vine slowly follows behind her, keeping it's eye on her.] People who effect your life far greater than you could ever imagine.
[The bed seems to be made, but not to her standards. She pulls back the sheets, before laying them out completely flat-hands smoothing out the creases here and there. Leaning over the bed, she pauses in her actions.]
Where if they disappeared, you would have no idea what you would do. The world continues on, but your own world ends. At least, it feels that way. [She finishes making the bed look proper, before taking a step back to look around the room. Her fingers linger on the edge of the wall for a moment, tracing corners. Silence fills the air, she lowers her head just a bit.]
In reality, all things come to an end and sometimes... the only thing you can do is accept it.
[No, she's happy now. Happy that her wish came true, happy that Aya is no longer trying to find a way home, happy that Aya can finally go back to her family. Even at the expense of Gabrielle's own loneliness, she does not let it eat away at her. Aya's escaped to go back to what she needs to do-that alone is comforting enough.]
