[At first, there is only a tranquil, quiet scene being broadcast. Flowers bobbing gently in the wind, a butterfly floating on the breeze, nothing out of the ordinary. Then a voice is heard, high and sudden. It will be familiar to some, vaguely Australian and somewhere between excited and confused.] Ah, oh! It was real?

[ She never really hung out with Vanille but she remembers her, and gives her a small wave. ]

Still the same-old same-old here.

It's all right, Fang and I will go look!

[She waves back.] You'r Larry, right? I don't think we really met before.

Has anything... [She scrunches up her face, trying to think of the right word.] interesting... happened lately?

[ Larry ponders 'interesting' for a moment' ]

Well, there were robots... and the queen just threw a tantrum the other day so odds are something else crazy is gonna happen.

[recalls]

... She goes from smiling to worried as Larry speaks. She has really terrible memories of the last time the Queen did something.] Oh, no... what was she angry about?

The usual... us not 'getting' her plans to make all of us fall in love with someone... something like that.

[ Larry doesn't seem too bothered by it right now; the Queen's too unpredictable, so they'll cross that bridge when they come to it. ]

[recalls]

It would be nice to fall in love, don't you think? Maybe that's all the Queen wants for us. She might just be... bad at showing it? It's not something you should try to force someone into, after all!

[gun_cata]

I get that she... kinda-sorta means well, but she can't expect everyone to want a relationship, and she can't expect everyone to want one with another woman.

[recalls]

[Bafflement!!!] Why would anyone not want to be with someone?

[gun_cata]

[ She shrugs. ]

Hard to say. Some people just aren't ready for a relationship... some people are coming off of a breakup... others are too focused on getting something else done.

[ Larry can't quite put her own past reasons into words. ]

[recalls]

[Vanille nods slowly. She supposes that makes sense, but:] Isn't it better to do things when you have someone else by your side?

Well, there's friends and then there's what the Queen wants to see.

[recalls]

[Sob. She doesn't understaaaand.] I thought that was the kind of thing everyone was looking for...

[ Vanille stop being so aderpable. ]

I was pretty happy without it before I came here.

[recalls]
