[To those in the open air, you might see a flash of light, the sound of small explosions, and the strange smell of terrible, otherworldly, things coming from the basement of the elegant Victorian home that one Joanna Cabal calls home. Truth be told she was conducting some of her rather ghastly experiments on the local wildlife and having little in the way of success in the matter.
As she had thought before even coming here, her lack of a soul was becoming an obstecle to her research and, by extension, the rest of her life as well.
