2nd Mission [video]
[The Vine shows the interior of a slightly messy bedroom, Reno not having trashed it yet following Claire's last cleaning. The room is not empty; there is a young woman lying on the bed. Curiously, her skin is roughly the same shade as her bright red hair. Could this be another of that created ocean's mischievous wildcard effects?
Not at all. The pale redhead, used to smoggy skies and shadows, has fallen victim to a quite ordinary--if quite terrible--case of sunburn, after falling asleep on the shore. Somehow, she managed to make her way back to the apartments before collapsing.]
[She stirs and moans.] Rude... Rude! [A pause.] Kitty? Somebody.
I'm dying. [She may be slightly delirious.] Get me a beer.
[Hoping against hope that this request will immediately be filled, she opens her eyes at last and sees the Vine and its mirror.] Hey! [She throws a shoe at the mirror and misses. She considers throwing another shoe, then gives up. It's unclear why there are shoes in her bed.] Ugh. I fucking hate this place.
