[Amamiya falls backwards into the water and starts lazily paddling backward.]

Don't let me stop you from enjoying it. I've needed a good swim too.

[Zenobia grins.] I don't see how a cute girl could lessen my enjoyment of the ocean.

[She sits down, letting the water flow around her and enjoying the feel of the ocean.]

[Amamiya raises her head to look directly at her, and raises an eyebrow.]

[The ocean, you say? This sounds like the place for a water-Pokémon expert. And here is she, in a bathing suit as well, shielding her eyes against the usual sun.]

I know. I love swimming, and I haven't had a chance to since arriving here. There's a lake, but it's simply not the same.

[Mami had come out to the beach to see what all the fuss was about, having heard about the strange effect that came from swimming in the ocean. As such, she's here fully dressed, standing on the shore and just watching the water.

It is pretty, she'll admit.

When she notices Amamiya, she casually waves, remembering her from the robot incident.]

[Amamiya blanched as Mami waved to her. She was still lurking out in the waves, trying to decide what she should do about this before she returned to shore. The last thing she wanted was to be noticed right now...much less by someone she knew. She, too, recognized Mami from the robot incident.]

[So instead she took the slightly cowardly option, and dove under the waves, as though Mami could be fooled into thinking she hadn't been there.]
