[cue a little bit of flailing, but ultimately, she doesn't resist.]

Who cares? We can hang them to dry when we get back. It's not like it's cold or anything.

Oh, I didn't think of that.

[she follows, wondering at the feeling of wet sand between her toes. It's strange, but she'd wanted to try going without shoes like she'd seen people do before on that very beach, from afar.]

[Sora lets go of Xion's hand, laughing as she goes to run through the smaller waves before diving in. ...Huh. She feels kinda funny...]

[she watches that confidence with admiration--Sora seems so at home in the water. For herself it's a new discovery, the sensation of water flowing around her ankles. She just stands and watches for a moment, linking her hands in front of her.]

[Sora is definitely very at home in the water. She grew up on the islands, and she's very much a near-fish in the water as she swims, laughing and just enjoying herself. But she's starting to feel just a bit dizzy. What's going on...?]

[she wades in a bit further, unaware that anything's amiss. Her arms are outstretched for balance, unused to walking over a surface her feet sink into with every step. She laughs a long with her friend, taking delight in Sora's own happiness.]

[tentatively at first, she reaches down, letting the clear blue-green water flow over her fingers. It's impossibly warm, and she wonders why she never tried this before. It feels so nice.]

[she waits for Sora to poke her head up above the water again, and splashes her playfully.]

[And Sora yelps when she's splashed, laughing before splashing back. She's enjoying this. She really... Really needed this.]

[especially now that Paderau's gone, XIon has needed some cheering up, too. Just being around Sora helps, but seeing her so happy is even better.]

[she squeaks in surprise, throwing her arms up to shield her face. She's all wet now...oh well. She stands there for a moment, dripping, before splashing back.]
