[...so Dot has come out of hiding and is slinking her way towards the lake. She is covered in blood and in dirt, it's in her blond hair dark and matted in places. Her clothes are ripped, but she has no wounds. Her regeneration returned days ago, healed up quick, even took away the ache of exhaustion.
It could not take away the fear, or the anger, and both are evident on her face as she glances around herself. She hasn't seen any pokemon for a while, maybe they're done, but she's not taking any chances at the moment.
She's crouched down at the edge of the lake to splash water on her face when the vine comes to ask her if she'd like to make a statement on her most recent trauma. She stares at the mirror for a moment, lank hair stuck to a wet face,]
What? [She says it flatly.] If you wanted an apology, you should have asked before you set the fucking dogs on me.
[She splashes water petulantly at the mirror, wrapping her arms around her knees and lowering her head down to them. She stays that way, sullen and silent for a little while before she turns her head to look at the mirror.]
So, I'm not dead.
