[Jill is seated with her back to a bush, staring at a few of the robots. She has a notebook open in her lap.]

Constructed Intelligence...except there's no Council for you, is there?

[She sighs, looking down at the paper.]

Tell me if you think this is any good, if you can.

All I gotta say is, those robots are lucky they don't understand words. Can you find willing victims next time and not transmit that shit all over?

[Jill scoffs at the vine. Figures it would transmit when she wanted privacy.]

Could have stopped watching.

It played the whole thing before I could get to the plant or get away from it. So, no. [Reno does look like someone who has only recently woken up.]

[She just shrugs and goes back to looking at the robots. It's not her place to defend her poetry, really, she has no idea what she's doing. So, if this woman hates it? Can't please everyone.]

I'm sorry, miss.

So why are you apologizing? You wanted feedback, right? Don't you mean, "thanks"?

It sounded sarcastic when I said it in my head, so I didn't thank you. My apology is for it waking you, if I assume correctly.

Oh, right. [Reno was more interested in mouthing off than in getting an apology. She shrugs.] I was just hanging around.

I don't need an apology. As long as you don't do it again. I thought I'd help you out of the goodness of my heart, since you asked if it was decent.

If I need opinions in the future, I'll get your name off my list. Sound fair?

I do love giving my opinion. What I don't like is listening to crappy poems.

Are you really an insane terrorist lady, or was that some poetic license you had going on there?

First attempt, seriously.

...What's your definition of terrorist, that's something I need to know before I answer.

And the last one, too, I hope. [She winks, as if she believes insulting Jill's poetry has become a private joke between them.]

Definition, huh? Well, it depends on the situation, doesn't it? [That's something she wouldn't have said a few years ago.] But where I'm from, a terrorist's anybody the president tells me to kill. [Smile.]

Then I'm not a terrorist.

Yeah yeah, but that's where I come from. I said it depends on the situation. What about where you come from?

Do you blow things up?

Where I come from? The city silences those who speak with different opinions yet sells their failed science projects to crime bosses.

Don't blow anything up, no.

[That sounds partly familiar, if not current.] And you're one of those different opinions people, right?

Blowing stuff up is fun. You're missing out. [Reno seems to have neutral feelings toward terrorists, as long as they're not causing her any trouble.] So what do you do? Kill anyone?

Mm. I simply don't think it's right to have the whole system as rigged as it is.

I kill people that need to be dead, I make plans, raid the city's top secret weapons cache, help save the city from falling to utter chaos, inspire people to have faith in their beliefs. Whatever it takes for change.
