third bullet :: video/action

[The mirror at first only shows robots marching past, destroying and trampling the Gardens as they go. Really, you might think, why did the Vine even bother? It's not exactly hard to miss the drama going on- no need for this kind of public awareness announcement.

But, see, the Vine sensed something exciting about to happen.]

TIRO FINALE!

[A girl with long bluish hair walks in, one hand ont he Katana at her waist]

How very showy.

[It was an impressive display of power, but it seemed overkill to Sakurako. A sword was all she needed to disassemble these oversided toys]

[Still, impressive]

[gurlfran, overkill isn't just a word sometimes- it's a policy

also haaaay sizing you up with a smile, now]

You'd probably think so, huh?

I do. If you throw around that much power so carelessly, you're liable to cause as much damage as you prevent.

It's a move intended to be a finishing blow, but considering the numbers I'm up against [I, not "we".] it's not like I have much of a choice.

Oh, really?

[A flicker of movement catches her eye]

Excuse me for a moment.

[She uses her Rise to move at inhuman speeds, jetting across the area to decapitate a robot that was still up and moving with one swing of her katana. She returns to where she was standing just as quickly, holding it's head in her hand. The whole set of action takes maybe a few seconds]

You missed one. [She tosses the head down between them] I suppose that's inevitable when you're firing off something as imprecise as that cannon of yours.

...So I did!

[She grips her muskets a little tighter, pride bristling at the taunt beneath her calm smile: imprecise?]

Anyway, to each their own; I have my guns, you have your...whatever that was. Might I have your name?

Amamiya Sakurako. And this is a sword. You've perhaps heard of them.

[Her eyes waver over the horizon. She sees movement in the distance, out of range of Mami's earlier artillery. There seemed to be an endless supply of them]

I'm going hunting. You're welcome to join me if you want.

Oh, I recognized the weapon- just not the power behind it. As for names, I'm Mami Tomoe.

[She catches the shifting glance and follows it.]

....Ah. Well, Miss Sakurako, I suppose I might as well. There's not much left around here anymore, to be sure. [stiffly nods at the severed robot head.]

[She lowers her body into a runner's pose, preparing to take off]

Do try to keep up. Rise.

[And then she's off, once again shooting forward at superhuman speeds. Not as fast as before, mind you, that had been a sudden sprint that wasn't sustainable for very long, but still pretty dang fast]

[Well, Mami's not nearly that fast- but neither is she left in the dust.

Although she does slow, a bit, to take enough care to pick off several robots in the distance as she goes.]

[Sakurako noted the shots winging past her, picking off robots. Mami seemed to be a pretty good shot.]

[She settled for a moment in front of the nearest robot before drawing her katana and cutting off its arm in one smooth glistening of metal. She turned her blade about and cut horizontally, severing its head]

[She watches the other girl carefully- curiously. She's not interested in making enemies in this place, if she can help it, but it never hurt to keep an eye on those with skill or power exceeding the norm.

Still running, Mami stops summoning guns to instead remove the yellow ribbon from her hair; as she does, it lengthens itself greatly in her hands, and after a great, whipcrack-like motion, speeds ahead of Mami to trap dozens of the robots in a tangled web. Is it to provide herself, or Sakurako with even easier targets? Who knows.]

[Sakurako was a bittaken by surprise by that, but she wasn't about to loom a gift horse in the mouth. She went to work on the trapped robots, her sword flashing through the air in smooth arcs, almost too fast to follow, but no more than two strokes to each robot]

[She takes the time to clap, just a bit sardonically; it's nice to see that the other girl isn't too prideful to ignore an opportunity provided by another.

But then the time for such a snide display ends, and Mami joins in with a flurry of gunfire, careful to aim for ones Sakurako isn't near yet.]

[Sakurako feels a twinge of annoyance at that mocking clap. This girl was getting on her nerves a bit. Not the time for personal squabbles, though: There were robots to kill. Between her sword and Mami's guns, they cleared out the area quickly, leaving a pile of sparking electronics on the grass. Sakurako wiped lubricating fluid off her blade and onto the grass, and then slid it back into its sheath.]

There are probably more around. I'll flush them out.

Peeping Lover.

[A series of glowing wires, each with a spy camera at the end of it, shoot forth from her body, darting out in different directions. What each sees is displayed on a set of small screens that appear in front of her]

Peeping....? Ah. [Watches this for a moment, the ribbon returning to her hands and its normal length; she replaces it.]

I suppose now is the part where I ask you just what you are, huh?
