[A woman stands elsewhere in the Gardens, sporting a formal white dress. Or, at least, it is mostly white. Judging by the splatters on her neck, it should be pretty clear that the red is certainly not part of the dress

[Sure. Why not magic. Not like anything else has made sense before here. Like why her regeneration is being so damn slow.]
Give me a few minutes, I should be okay. Wish I could say the same about this dress, though. Anyway, something about getting doctored up by snakes doesn't sit too well with me.
I haven't really asked, but that and squeezing you to death seem like most of what snakes are good at, so. I guess I'll leave the curiosity to find out for sure to someone else.
You know, it doesn't exactly look like a scrape, or the kinda thing that can fix itself. ( GOD AYA why are you stupid.
No, she does not have an attitude problem, why would you even think that? )
[She thinks about this for a moment; she thinks about the wedding. The hail of bullets, the firing squad, the piercing shots puncturing her chest. Couldn't breathe. Vision dark. Then she remembers she isn't really dead. Reminds herself of this. Because otherwise, she wouldn't be here.]
No... There would be no point. I'll just get some cleaner clothes.
[The dress has served its purpose. Time to put it behind her.]
( Well. That's weird, but at least Ellie can respect the attitude, and if she isn't exactly sure about that, then it interests her. She scratches her jaw a bit as she thinks that over. )
You might want something that's easier to run in, then.
I reckon the status report can wait. You want... bandages, or something?

[Stubborn as always.]

Welcome to the Garden, then. Animals talk. It's weird.

I've noticed, but I don't quite understand it...

( Oh well. They're all trapped here together, anyway. ) It's weird, yeah. I'm not gonna give those things any excuse to bite me. It's creepy.

[Trapped. Aya's felt that way before. She doesn't like this feeling. Even if the prison looks nice.]
If they have to bite you in order to fix you up, then I'm gonna have to take a rain check on that. I think I can wait for the problem to fix itself.

[That's fine. She's dealt with the whole attitude problem on a regular basis, so she's not offended by it at all.]
If it wasn't, do you think I'd be able to walk around like this?

I've seen people do some pretty dumb things when they're hurt.

That's exactly what I want. This dress wasn't exactly designed for running. Or a firing squad, for that matter...
[Although she somehow managed to survive a massacre while wearing an evening dress and eight-inch heels just fine.]
