[Over the Gardens today there is a red-haired girl with horns and small wings flying around, trying to get a better look at this strange place she's found herself in. Soon she lands near one of the ponds and her wings vanish

That's because I'm a devil! Are most people here human?

Uh... a devil that used to be human? There really aren't any different "kinds" of devils, I think.

I guess I'm more the monster type, but I don't how much about Christian devils. I'm not even sure Christianity exists in the Spirit World...

I didn't even know about it until I started going to school. We had a class on different religions.

I really don't know much about Western religions either. None of the schools I've attended have had any classes like that.

We had a class on all the different kind of people there are in the world. Like, a guy from Persia talking about Islam and a deaf woman with an interpreter. Dad said that sort of thing is why he moved to California.

Sounds like an interesting class. And California - that's in the United States, right?

Yeah. We live near the bay. He teaches people how to draw.

So your dad's an artist? Are you one too?
