Okay... [ She gave the cat a skeptical eye. ] Look, I don't really need anything, I just need to-- You know what, forget it.
[ The place apparently had it's queens and felines, but this was no Wonderland, and Roxas wasn't about to ask the cat for anything anytime soon (whom, thankfully, didn't seem to talk in riddles). She had more important

Roxas! Roxas, you're back!
[yes, that is an overjoyed biffle of yours sticking her face close to the mirror. She'll even forgive you if you don't remember her.]

[ She knew that voice anywhere and also leaned towards the mirror, her nose practically sticking to the glass. ]
I finally found you! [ The Roxas as she was now would never forget her friends. ]

[wait...something's different. Roxas is wearing her cloak, not those weird clothes.]
Does that mean--your memory's fixed?

[ She gestured sadly towards Xion with one hand, almost as if holding it out to her, despite not being in the same proximity.]
I'm not sure what you mean about my memory, [ a jab at her first zombie week? :| ] but me and Axel were worried.
Let's go back home.

Axel? Axel's here, too?
[home. She wants to believe it's Sora's treehouse, but she has a bad feeling it's anything but.]
What...do you mean, go home.
Reply
Not here, but most likely in another world-- looking for you, too.
[ She slowly let her hand descend back down, as it was now it was her turn to look confused. Why didn't Xion want to go back? ]
Where else would it be? The castle, of course.

[to her shame, despite her vow to herself to tell only the truth from now on, she feels her resolve waver dangerously. She doesn't want to lose Roxas again. She can't. Let alone fight her...but how to make her understand?]
I--...we--....I need to see you. Talk to you. It's important...okay?

Or, maybe... she was the impatient one, after all. She couldn't understand why the other was so hesitant, but on the other hand... if Xion knew something she didn't, then would she finally get to know some of the things she had questions about? Maybe she found out something. Roxas would just have to hear her out.]
...Okay. [ She awkwardly jerks her thumb towards the clock tower.] Over at the clock tower?

[ Her gaze lingered on the tower, wondering if it was a good idea to try to lighten up the conversation. ]
And...it's not like someone can just pick it up and plant it here.
[ ... ] How'd it get here the first place? Not that I'm complaining.

[ That sounded quite unbelievable, but even Axel didn't believe her when she said she could fly. Time to give the benefit of the doubt. It wasn't as if Xion would lie to her, anyway.
She smiles a little. ]
Nice choice. I couldn't have done better.

I'll see you soon.

[ With that, Roxas fiddles with the vine. (How do you turn this thing off?)
And after a few moments, she wore an awkward grin as she somehow managed to switch the communication stream off, then stood up and walked towards their usual spot...in a different world, but like the details mattered for now.
No. In actuality, Roxas ran towards the tower-- maybe she got impatient, or maybe, she just wanted to see her friend face to face as fast as she could-- finally making it towards her destination and sat down on the ledge, catching her breath. ]

[the same, but different. The Roxas she'd met here so many times for ice cream was a boy, so there were slight differences. But this was her friend--she knew that. Appearances didn't matter.]
[she never thought she'd be able to see the sight of Roxas waiting for her ever again. The last time, she had been the one waiting. She almost wishes she had some ice cream to share, but that feels like a mockery after what she did.]
[and Roxas didn't know what had become of her, what had to become of her.]

Roxas.
[she takes one step, another...then wraps her arms around her friend from behind, tightly. This is real. She can feel tears prickling at her eyelids and blinks hastily.]
I'm...so happy you're here.
