[The Vine's mirrors turn on, revealing Lambdadelta in all her incredibly pink glory sitting atop...a very ornate and large seat. In fact, one may go so far as to call it a throne. It is at the end of an equally elaborately-decorated and large hall, lit by sunlight coming through several stained-glass windows.
It is a bit dark.]
This world--even with all the different sorts of people here--is incredibly boring. I am all for embracing love, so the last little incident with the chocolates was amusing to watch, but I hope that's not all the Queen intends to do with this board.
--So! Hey! Lots of you can fight, right? Don't deny it; I can sense the strong wills and the fighting spirit and whatnot, with you humans and not-humans alike.
But you're all just bumbling around.
Why not have us a contest? A tournament! Or just a few matches if that's simpler for you all. I want to see some contests of willpower here! I think, with the people provided, it could give even someone as old as me some entertainment.
So, what do you think? It'll be fun, right? I might even give winners a prize to give you some incentives!
[Lambdadelta has conjured her mansion; however, from the outside, it appears to be a small--if very nice--house; however, if one were to walk inside--the door is unlocked, by the way!--one would notice that the inside of this building is much, much larger than the outside and the structure of the building follows no logic and doesn't obey the laws of physics or space.
Anyone sensitive to space-time antics or breaking physics may feel it and ordinary people may find it a fairly disorienting place to be.
And, yes: Lambdadelta does genuinely want to get together a tournament, if possible, to get people to beat the shit out of each other; her promise of a gift was true, too.]
