"If it goes really bad for me, well. Expect me to use your powers against you." Anna smirked. She had done a field test of the Stone Bits already.
"Begin!"
And she jumps - and her machine folds in on itself until it resembles a fighter jet, opening fire with sweeping cuts of the laser and the sewing-needle shaped shotgun effects of her e-mag crossbow.

"My powers? We'll see about that!" Tenshi said, having no clue WHATSOEVER what Anna was talking about.
"...Whoa!" Tenshi suddenly moved really quick, to dodge the laser, which had really surprised her quite a bit. She hadn't expected the attack so fast, so after dodging clumsily, she growled, and punched the ground, erecting a barrier of rock.
Which, moments later, after actually deciding on a tactic, she destroyed herself with a massive burst of laser, using the pieces of the rock as added projectiles for a shotgun-like blast!

It becomes apparent what the sword is for when Anna shifts her unit into hybrid form, unsheathes the sword, and uses it to bat away rock, letting it clatter onto the hiltguard without harm. It doesn't get all of the blast - but most of the damage is at least deflected, if not totally blunted.
She air-dashes, the jets of her unit whining, trying to land a horizontal slash through any walls Tenshi might erect.

That was, actually, not what Tenshi tried next. Although it seemed like it.
What she did do was stab the ground below her with HER sword, causing her own position to be lowered, rising rock around where she was. Heaven & Earth "Violent Land that Mothers All", in a way. Since her position was below the ground, a horizontal slash only singed her hat.
Much to her annoyance.
Her counterattack? Raising a pillar of rock *quickly* below the rampaging mecha, as some sort of punch. Just with rock. Rock-punch?

Okay, that actually did a lot of damage. Anna hissed at the damage reports - but also took advantage of the momentum to flip down, and fire several bursts of flechettes and lasers into the pit that Tenshi dug for herself.
"Nice shot," Anna muttered. "Gotta remember that trick."
Whack-a-Tenshi.peachhatMarch 10 2011, 21:10:08 UTC
"Crap, that was dumb." Tenshi muttered noticing the incoming barrage and the lack of open-area-ness in her immediate vincinity. She solved this by catapulting herself into the air, using a summoned keystone as a shield against the lasers, and her sword against the other bullets, and working on the assumption that she'd somehow make it through that way.
She did, although she was quite singed. Her clothing damage was mostly in the areas of her boots, hat, sleeve, and hem of her skirt. Sorry, fanservice freaks, none to be had here!
Still, damage it was.
She didn't waste time to say something, and instead used the time to summon various keystones, which started firing barrages in the direction of the mecha.
She apparently summons her own keystones - two of them, orbiting until ordered - to take the blows.
Anna herself crouches down where she lands, and sinks her sword into the earth. "I yei - oh, for christ's sake, it was friendly sparring," she says to the bears currently giving her and Tenshi the evil eye. "We're done, no real harm. Shoo."
ah, thought I had done something wrong, I suck at fight scenes. Never know what to do.peachhatMarch 10 2011, 21:40:12 UTC
Tenshi pondered for a moment. She assumed that meant some sort of thing like Reimu and Marisa had with the incident solving, right?
...
Which in turn meant...
"Yes! Gladly!"
The answer really was obvious, since Tenshi still hadn't really managed to fight much. Utsuho was gone, the fight with Flandre had been unjustly interrupted. She really hadn't been very lucky...
"Hey, that's a big armor you have there!" Tenshi commented, pointing at what she figured was Anna Ling's knight armor.
She did spot some sort of chord, too, but didn't pay it much attention.

"You're a smaller, more agile, less durable target," Anna says. "I'm a bigger, stronger, and slower target. Seem fair to you?"
Reply
"And we'll see about the strength! You DID do really well against the flowers, thats for sure."
She just couldn't help that whole boasting thing, sadly.

Tenshi looked dumbfounded for a moment, and looked left and right while trying to ignore the bears.
"Err...It was. Wasn't it? I thought it was. I treated it like that!"

"You're better at this than me," Anna said. "If it can possibly be helped, the next time something big goes down I want you on my wing."

And that I can help you channel your powers towards something... constructive is not the right word she left unsaid.
