[A tortured stasis shrieks from the Vine, accompanied by vague shadowy impressions of a face in the mirror, with red eye glowing. The video quickly cuts out. A while later, it resumes, showing an empty backdrop of the Gardens before cutting out again. Finally, the video returns and stays, showing an oddly monochrome teenager

It was a nuisance doing it anyway.

People built a lot of stuff. Like a floating island or a bar.

As for the Queen, um... she's kind of ditzy... which is bad, since she's so powerful and kind of messes up what she tries to do.

I prefer my own Queen then, as bothersome as she can be. How did they do this building?

[yakuza_otaku]

You just need to pick up some dirt or sand or something out in the wild places.

It's um... you can tell you're in the right place when you go past some wolves and it starts feeling all weird.

And then you just kind of imagine what you want with it.

Is there something keeping one from reshaping the dreamstuff in the more shaped places?

That's where people build their stuff, actually.

[phobophage]

I meant that the things already here can't be changed. So are you saying that the things here resist shaping, so we have to go to the edges to get stuff that doesn't resist shaping?

[yakuza_otaku]

Oh, uh... I've never really tried modifying anything besides the floating island... which I could, but that was built by somebody who was brought here. But I had to use stuff from the edges to do it, you can't just pick up dirt from the ground around here.

I wonder why the Queen did it that way.

I don't know. She's pretty weird, so...

Who knows the reasonings behind the whims of Queens, after all?

Yeah, exactly.

In this case, it's irritating. I welcome a new puzzle, but I don't like being blocked off from my abilities.
