This is Aqua. [ a pause, and then deciding that as the woman's shared her title, she ought to do the same: ] Master Aqua. I take it you're a new arrival, ma'am.

I see. Your title and the fact that you are the first person I've spoken to made me wonder what your role here might be.
Trapped. [She considers the word.] If our situations are the same, then might I ask for your assistance? I require further information concerning this place. The note I received was vague and not necessarily credible.
Of course. I'm more than willing to help anyone who requires assistance. [ she puts a hand to her chest, bowing her head a little ] I've been here for around a month, so there's a fair amount I know. Where would you like me to start?
I thank you for your help. [She returns the gesture.]
I know only that which I have been told so far. I have been brought here against my will by an unknown party. I take it there is no discernible way to leave this place?
I am also concerned for my comrade, who does not seem to be here with me. Have you encountered anyone named Angeal?
That's right. The Queen rules over this world, and seems to have power enough to summon people as she wishes. She's only brought women over, thus far, and rarely ever shows her face. Nobody's actually met her in person, and we haven't found a way out, yet. It's not simply a case of flying off-world, either; there's some sort of barrier in the sky.
And I'm sorry, but I haven't heard of anyone by that name. I'll continue to keep an eye out, though, as there are plenty of people I've yet to come into contact with.
[For the first time, Sephiroth's expression registers concern as she processes this information.]
If no one has met her in person, how can we be certain she even exists? No way out, a barrier above, random subjects all of the same sex--it sounds like this could be a laboratory environment, if a very sophisticated one.
Thank you for your offer, but there is no need for you to keep an eye out for my comrade if there are only women here. I had not realized that fact. Angeal is male.
Actually, you'd... be surprised. [ she pauses. This part is never not awkward ] My friend's here. Actually, he's more of a brother than a friend, which - well, that's the problem. In this world, she's a girl.
But as for the Queen, you're right. She might not be what she claims to be, or just an illusion created by someone else. We can't know for sure.
[Sephiroth does not understand how a change in sex could present a problem, so she is only pleased by this news.] That is heartening, thank you. Most of my comrades are male, but perhaps one of them will appear here after all. Their sex makes no difference to me.
True. [She regains her calm.] If there is not sufficient evidence, we should not jump to any conclusions. I will attempt to investigate further.
[ in all honestly, Aqua didn't find the swapped sexes odd, either, for she's seen magic do far stranger things. What does confuse her, however, is the fact that Ventus is certain he's always been a girl ] I hope some of your comrades arrive soon. I'd hate to think that anyone was completely alone here.
If you do uncover anything, I'm sure we'd all appreciate being informed.
I've discovered that there is a woman here who knows me, but I do not know her, and she is not my comrade. I will continue to hope that one of my fellow SOLDIERs might appear.
I will inform you of any possibly useful discoveries I make. No one should be kept here against her will.

Explain yourself. [Demand that it is, it is delivered in a mannerly tone.] Are you responsible for my presence here?

I have nothing to do with how you got here. I'm sorry to say that I'm as trapped here as you are.
