I've been using it for two years in the same general area, haven't seen it do anything like that. ((because that particular area isn't affected for certain reasons))

*Tenshi, there's a certain young looking woman looking up at your island holding a bow. She takes aim, pulling back the screen and... causing a bolt of magic to form. It starts to get larger as she holds the pose for awhile, before letting loose. The bolt flies about half way up towards the island, before exploding into twenty lesser shots and homing in on the island from different directions*

[Tenshi had been lying on her stomach, looking down from the island, being bored. Of course, when the arrow came, she spotted the energy gathering, which proved that there was some stuff coming. INteresting...]

Whoa, she has some sort of danmaku!

[Tenshi raised her sword, and stabbed it into the island, making several of her keystones appear, intercepting the blasts. Considering that Kazumi was on the island, she better make sure that it didn't get shot down!]
