[The mirror opens to a scene early in the morning. Fela is near the orchard, the hills and the tops of the apple trees visible in the distance, small and quaint looking from this vantage point. There is a snake twined around one of her ankles, and when she turns at the sound of the blossoming mirror, her eyes are incredibly dark, her smile is dazed

The amenities inside the house are equally as simple as what she had imagined for the outside, a wood-burning stove, a shallow sink, a rather beaten looking wooden table. They were the last vestiges of what she remembered from her own world, and she was pleased with them.
There is water boiling on the stove and the table has been laden heavily with fruits and flowers and herbs.]

Surprise me!

Priestess Melia has told me about some of these fruits. [She explains this, chattering happily, as she gathers up a few of them, moving the bunch to the counter. She spends a moment longer poking at the various herbs and flowers she'd picked at random from the orchard, lifting them up to her nose to smell before choosing some, perhaps at random, for the tea.]
There are so many interesting new things to taste and smell here.
[From a very small cabinet beneath her counter, she takes out a wooden bowl that she puts the fruit into as she slices it.]

It was very dry where I came from, and not much food or water at all.
[She squeezes out half a lime over the bowl of fruit, giving it a stir, before she presents it the Yukari. Fela stares at the other woman dreamily for a moment, the sonando in her system derailing her attention before she remembers to say,]
And there is not much that is familiar to me, I forget too easily.
[She turns next to the tea, a few stems of dillweed and rose petals doused under hot water.]

No, I lose many things to the smoke.

[Can Yukari take some tea for herself?]
Reply
Yes... [Fela answers her distractedly, watching the steam curl from their drinks.] The soñando, the snakes bring it to me.

They do? Is it some sort of...medicine?

The soñando opens the eyes, to see the dreaming and the shaping.
[She's halfway to reaching for a few more pieces of fruit when her hand stops, tracing patterns in the air in front of Yukari. All people have certain shapes that reveal themselves to her in this state. Those with magic and great spirits shine particularly brightly, the dips and flex of their hearts making complex patterns, as unique as a fingerprint or a lace.]
