[ the mirror shows Aqua in full armour, helmet tucked under one arm. Her Keyblade is dug into the ground in front of her, and she stands straight, as if to attention ]

Hello. [ she bows her head, but the motion is a little too stiff to be called a nod ] My name is Aqua. I apologise for not introducing myself sooner; it's just that with all the ( Read more... )

Huuuuh, that's some pretty nice armor you've got there. How well does it move?

World? [sighs, scratching at her hair] Never given it that much thought. I come from, well, Earth. But you probably want more details than that, huh? There, uh, anything you want to ask?

Well enough. I can travel in it, and it folds down to fit on my sleeves.

[ taps her chin, thoughtful ] You're the second person to mention this Earth. Are you a supernatural being, too?

...Folds down? I've never seen any armor that can do that.

There seem to be a few of us. All of us from different...versions, though, it seems. Strange timelines. Nah, I'm nothing special. Well, except when you put me in a Knightmare.

That's right. [ Aqua taps her shoulder, and with a flash of bright light, her armour slots and slides away, until there's no trace of it left, other than the three scales of metal on each arm ] I know what you mean by timelines, though. Sorting that all out is tough.

[ she tilts her head to the side ] Excuse me? A nightmare?

[blinks, letting out a soft, startled gasp at the way it just kind of...compacts away into nothing] Man... Do you have any idea how that works?

Ah, Knightmares are robot suits, basically, used in combat. I'm a...a rather prestigious pilot, I must admit.

It's based in magic, I suppose, and bound to my Keyblade. [ she holds up her weapon, just to clarify ] I'm not sure if it would work in the exact same way for other people.

Oh, you're a pilot? Do you ever go into space?

Magic, huh? [frowns at that, tilting her head at the way the weapon looks] Keyblade? It doesn't...look that useful as a weapon.

Oh, no, we don't go up that high. Not...that I'd put it past some mechanics I know to try, now that I think about it.

Really? But it's a giant, heavy piece of solid metal. I would've thought it made a perfect weapon. [ furrowing her brow, she examines the Keyblade between her hands, and then lets it disappear ] Oh, it can be used to channel magic, too. Among other things.

I bet it's still exciting, even if you don't go that high. Have you made anything here you can fly with?

Hah, well, I guess that's true. It just looks a little cums - [stops when she sees it just kind of...poof out of existence, what, but then she's seen weirder stuff than that, so forges on] I uh. I see.

Mm, it's the best. Ha, come on, what could I make here? It's just a bunch of trees and flowers. Anyway, I don't know how to make stuff, I just...make it work.

But I made my armour for myself, and I'm anything but a craftsman. There's a special material here, a certain sort of dirt out on the edge of the Gardens.

You can use it to create anything you put your mind to.

A special...dirt? Just dirt? Why am I even still skeptical. How does it, uh, how does it work?

You take a handful of it, throw it in the air, and just think about what you want it to become. I know it sounds simple, but that's honestly all there is to it.

...Normally I'd call that incredibly stupid, but a pair of birds brought me breakfast today. So I guess I can't really judge anymore. What else have people made, then?

There are lots of things around! I saw a strange - well, a giant light, with some sort of bat painted across it in the ruins, and my friend Sora made a tree house for us to live in. It even came complete with separate rooms and furniture.

Hm, a treehouse, huh? Sounds pretty nice. [rubs her chin again, clearly thinking about it] So you just, uh, go out to the "edge" of the Gardens? Nowhere in particular you've got to go to?

That's it! You should know it when you find it - you might be throwing regular dirt around the first few times, but it shouldn't take too long.
