This past weekend I went to VTA's in Richmond, VA. I got passed on to SETC! I'm extremely relieved and happy. I was kind of worried about it. This was the best audition I have had since last year at SETC. I haven't been on my game lately, so it was nice to finally feel good about something. I'm starting to feel like "Faith" again. For a while, I was feeling really low. I hated school, my best friend was 2 and half hrs. away, and my performance level and motivation was slowly slipping. It took all of my strength to get up in the morning and go to class. I cried every day for no reason at all. It wasn't until just recently, I actually felt worth something. After my audition on Saturday, I felt like a million bucks; a feeling that I haven't had since May.
This a quote that has help me get through this rough time in my life:
"When life is getting you down, you must remember this: You must solve each problem one at a time, take each day as it comes, stick to your goals no matter what happens, press forward and follow your dreams. Keep your attention focused on the future and look for a bright side, even though it may be temporarily covered by a gray cloud. Remember to smile and sing your songs. Think about the people who love you. No matter how difficult it seems, you have the power, the ability and talent to accomplish what your heart desires. And above all, remember I love you!"-My Mom =)
