How empty Olympus is. I sat at the throne of a realm so sparsely populated it took all the fun out of being the sole ruler for the time being. Not to say that I didn't miss you dearly, Zeus, my darling. You know that I did. Home is not home without you ( Read more... )

Ah, Echo, my little storyteller.

And it would seem that way, little nymph. I did note the absence of many, but the details were not marked. I would ask for a list, but they all can at least present themselves to me personally.

Um, yes. That would be me, Goddess.

Alright. Is there anything you need? I'm happy to help in any way I can!

For now, I would like you to put your talents to good use, seeing as what I have taken away still exists on this medium, and tell me about this place and whatever hazards it might contain.

Um. Well.

Cronus, Khaos, and Gaia are now in charge of everything! They're the ones who made us mortal and gave us all, um, mortal identities but no one knows why. Gaia keeps saying we have to learn things and Cronus likes to torture us. Every month or so there's an, um, event to alter things. We've been turned into children, stuff like that.

Does that help, Lady Hera?

It does, child. But I do wonder if you could elaborate upon this so-called 'torture.' Being turned into a child for an amount of time seems tedious and vexing, but far from excruciating.

Well I think it's the, um, lack of control that makes people so on edge. It might be getting turned into children or it might be a, um, murder event. You can never be sure.

Interesting. I suppose that these so-called events are more the devices of Khaos than they are of Cronus. My poor, wretched father was never bright enough to be creative.

It's hard to, um, say.

Well, they either are or they aren't. I suppose Cronus could come up with something savage and brutal, he's good at that.

He's just as mortal as, um, we are according to Gaia.

Is he now?

This might be the most interesting thing you have said to me.
