So today was pretty good. I got up at 9:00 a.m. and found out that we had a snow day, so I slept until 11:00 a.m. (when my mom called) and then again until 1:00 p.m. (when I finally was through with all this sleeping stuff). Rich and I went to lunch and then to Spellman where I felt uncomfortable because my stalker was there. I went back and threw the towels in the wash and I might also do the laundry if I am totally up to it. It was so competitive down there, this one girl took up 90% of the washers and put them all on 100 minutes (average time is 56 minutes) at 1/4 capacity. Then when I waited for 20 minutes to do have a dryer. This girl tried to take mine because "all her stuff was hand washed and she needed it fluffy" which was when I replied that machine drying is not good for hand-wash only fabrics. It may have been bitchy, but it's only fair. After I got the towels, Rich and I talked for a while. He got his LSAT scores back, and I have to say that I am very very proud of him.
We're looking at schools. I'm kind of hoping for Winston-Salem, but I could go for Columbia (SC). Yes,
tayloropolis, I said South Carolina. I have a lot of applications to do this weekend, as well as my normal dose of homework and my psychology test on Monday.
And I have the 2ny Meeting which will be a batch of fun as always, especially if Rich can't vote and the block is destroyed. God, I hate these things so much. At least mom learned how to do lucet making so I can make my own tapes. I want to make an orange-y one for my short gown that I am so so so in love with due to it's F&I kind of feel.
I went Wedding Dress shopping yesterday. Because Rich is a traditionalist and reads my El Jay, I can't tell you what they look like, but there were two that I am very in love with. I figure that in a couple of months I'll go again, this time bringing my daddy (believe it or not, he picked out both my prom gowns) and my mommy. I'll probably venture into the Land of No Return (aka Jersey) to do some of my shopping. They are big on wedding dresses.
Oh yeah, and I saw Benjamin Rabbit. He is very very cute, but what would you think when you hear "a little bunny"? You'd probably think some cute little palm sized thing. No, Benjamin, is bigger than Fluffy (my 9 lb.kitty) and they do get along well. Benjamin is very very loud though. He does not know how to hop quiety.
