My NEWS year and Winter break
Well, school has started back today. But I can say that I've had a really great winter break. For my first week of break I went to see Avatar (actually that was the friday before break, but I'll include it anyway), then we headed off to Orlando and spent the rest of the week with My great aunt and Uncle.
There was this awesome Oriental Super Market there. I went on a search for some MOW yogurt (the kind advertised by Yamapi!)but couldn't find any. I even went looking for some Weidler Jelly, didn't find that either. So I ended up running around this HUGE Market and only buying some Pepero and Hello Kitty candies (They tasted delicious!). I'm a candy junkie ( an a NEWS junkie, lol).
So down in Orlando I managed to collect some cool clothes, some cool treats, and a cool digital camera( with which I took tons of cool pictures and video)! From there we went to North Carolina, where we met with my sisters and my brother! We had lots of fun spending Christmas with them! So many gifts! I asked for The NEWS Winter Party Diamond concert and a all region DVD player, but I didn't get either. But I got tons of other awesome gifts, like earrings, bracelets, cute clothes, socks (these gifts sound boring, but they really weren't) FAME hair coloring stuff, and "Beyond Good and Evil" video game I wanted.
I even got to go to my first college football game, it was lots of fun! But SUPER cold! It was Pitt vs. Carolina. We were rooting for Pitt! And they won, which made it even better. 19 to 17! From there we went to my brother's girlfriend's house and he proposed! It was the first time I'd ever seen someone propose! Magical~ For some reason I imagined Hoshi wo Mezashite playing in the background, but I'm not sure why.
Anyway, my sisters and my brother had to go back to work so they left that weekend and we stayed at my grandparent's house for a couple more days (even though I wanted to go home!) and left Wednesday night. It's a 12 hour trip so I basically slept in Thursday. On friday, my sister, my exchange student, and a couple of our friends went too the Korean Restaurant (yes, that's the name, FOR REAL!).
One of my friends is a Korean exchange student so she loved it! They had Karaoke ( w/ NEWS SONGS!) and my friend did some Korean songs and I couldn't choose a Japanese song because we had a Japanese exchange student too so I didn't want to mess up and be laughed at so I just sung an Alicia Keys song which I rocked! (KAT-TUN met her so I guess that's close enough)
My friends left for Atlanta, so they left me alone the rest of the weekend. So I sat and watched NEWS Winter Party Diamond Concert! It was so gooooood! Thanks to newshfan for subbing! Wendy is the best! I tried to watch KAT-TUN's Break the Records concert, but my internet cut off so I couldn't download it form JE- Index! I'll watch it today or tomorrow!
I can't believe I almost forgot to mention my exchange student bought me a christmas present too! It was a TVXQ wallet! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it! I just about had a heart attack I probably would have if it was a NEWS one! That had to be the best gift yet. My other friend got me some Junsu earrings, I loved that too!
I celebrated New Years with my exchange student, Nadia because I'm sick of typing exchange student and my sister Ramona. We drank sparkling cider and watched Kathy and Andy on CNN. And my New Years Resolution is to stay single for this year and forever on unless Yamapi asked me to marry him!
Oh and I got a cookie that said "Be Cheerful, of all the things you wear, your expression is your most important."
