Moving Units cancelled their show at Maxwell's so Sheryl andI decided to walk over to the Bowery and see if there were any last minute tickets for Death Cab. Just as we crossed the street two girls came away from the club and offered us their tickets for three dollars under face value. We waited around outside in the rain for the club to open and got yelled at to stay away from the door as we had our ears pressed against it to listen to Death Cab soundcheck. The yelling was not because they didn't want us to listen, but so we wouldn't be injured by the door suddenly swinging open.
There is nothing better than watching Ben Gibbard air drum and sing along for the entirety of Mates Of State's set. Loverly.
I want to take Ben Gibbard and Chris Walla home with me so I can listen to them say witty/cute things to eachother all the time.
