Yesterday something really cool happened.
I found a book.
Bear with me on this one, it was left by someone who'd registered it on www.bookcrossing.com for somebody else to find and notify them that I'd found the book.
BookCrossing is basically for people who read a book and "release" it by giving it an ID number on the website then leaving the book somewhere for anybody who picks it up.
I'm sorry thats an AWESOME idea. Hence why I'm going to start doing it, and you can go hunting for books, if you select your locality you can be notified of when a book is released in your area and if you want, go and find it. ITS LIKE A GIANT TREASURE HUNT FOR GROWN UPS.
I sound too excited about this, sorry I just think its really cool, sign up and do it with old books you don't want anymore..and don't forget to put me down as you're referral ;) QueenMrSarah kids hehe
