I feel like I could sleep for a month right now. I will be glad when I can get back to exercising and what not, but right now I am so frickin' tired. Between school, work and packing to move... yeah a wee bit tired. And joy of joys... I am moving during the hottest weather we've had so far this summer.

I finished packing up my kitchen yesterday AND took all of it to my storage unit. I have a few things left, mostly dry food goods that I need to sort and figure out what I am taking to the house and what I feel just needs to be pitched. The canned goods I'll donate to a food bank or something since they aren't opened. Then I just need to clean out my fridge of everything but what I am eating (ie. lunch meat, cheese, mustard, bread and milk).

I started more on my living room last night and this morning I moved all *packed* boxes into the kitchen for organization. This way I know what I still have left to do and what boxes are available to use because they haven't been yet. Then to my bedroom to pack up there and clear things out.

My goal is to have the primary packing stuff done by tomorrow night at the latest. Then Thursday I can focus on getting the cleaning started. Mostly picking up a lot of big items that need to be thrown away. I figure *thorough* cleaning will be done next week once everything is out of the apartment. Once things are relatively cleaned, I'll do a good vacuum of the carpet, then use masteralida's steam cleaner to do my own rug cleaning. The landlord is supposedly going to clean the carpet himself, which is why I am not going to rent a more powerful steam cleaner to do a thorough job. I still would like to bug bomb the place. Maybe what I'll do is get one and bug bomb it Sunday, since I want to spend the day at the house unpacking, maybe a little relaxing, and make sure I have homework stuff done. That'll give the bug bomb time to do the job and Monday I can go over and do some cleaning. Maybe if I can get the cleaning out of the way on Monday, I can vacuum and steam clean on Tuesday then turn my keys in.

The bedroom AC unit is going back to my coworker. The living room AC unit is staying at the apartment. The apartment does not have central AC, hence why I got the two units. The second unit was mainly gotten so last summer wasn't miserable for me and the pooch. I got Anubis at the end of my first summer in the apartment, so the living room unit was in my bedroom. And due to the issues with its side panels, I was going to just get a new one and have only one in the bedroom since that's the room I wanted to make sure was cool. I can't sleep when I am too hot. However, I just covered the panels with cardboard to avoid bugs getting in further. The apartment has "sealing" issues, so bugs were getting in anyway. I mean there's a large enough gap at the top of the screen door cause it's slightly off to allow bugs in when I had the door open. Which I love doing and I'm gonna miss at the house, unless we eventually do get screen doors in. I loved having the door opened and letting the breeze come in.

The shelving thing over the back of the toilet I bought is going to remain at the apartment too. I don't want to worry about figuring out how to take it out and I told my landlord I was going to leave it. He was fine with that, especially since he asked if it was something he had put in or not when he was showing it to a potential tenant.

The only "furniture" that is coming with me is the desk my computer is currently on. It's going to go up into masteralida's room so she can get the command center out of there. It's a temporary thing till she can get the desk she wants into her room. The stand I am currently using for my TV is going with so we can use it for the TV because it's going to go in the living room till we can get another TV for the living room and then mine will go into my bedroom. Or that one can stay in the living room and I'll buy a new one for my bedroom. K-Mart layaway, here I come!

Of course my bed is coming with, plus a small shelving thing that served as a nightstand and the trunk that I have. And while it's a cheaper bookcase that I got at Wal-Mart, you know one of those that you put together yourself, that will be coming too for my room for my books.

I already put the microwave cart out by the trash. I didn't think it worth anything, but apparently someone thought differently because I noticed it was missing. We'll need to take the couch apart by chopping it up in order to get it out of the apartment. That was always a given because it was fairly old when it was given to me and therefore we had all agreed that when I moved out to a better place, or decided to get a new one, that it would need to be cut up and just put out by the trash or taken to the dump. The matching loveseat will most likely join it, or I'll put down by the street with a free sign on it. The same with the recliner, though I think the recliner just needs to go with the couch. It's had a long run, first in Michigan then with me. I was to the point that I had a pillow under my legs for it because the cushioning was starting to wear.

I would like to eventually get a recliner or some type of seat with an ottoman like thing for my room, especially if I am up there on my laptop. It's not as comfortable for me to sit on my bed while on my laptop. No idea why. I deal with it at a hotel, but for some reason I can never really get comfortable. I don't know if it's because pillows shift and what not, or if a recliner just feels better. Maybe I need to get one of those pillows with the arms to use to prop me up on my bed.

I made a decision, as far as exercising, that when I move in I need to start getting up earlier and head to the gym with my work clothes, get in a workout, shower there, then head straight to work. I am figuring this will guarantee me getting gym time in, especially come September when my fall courses start. Right now, my two classes are virtual so if I *wanted* to go to the gym in the evening, I can but still go to class. However, in September I will have class till 9-10pm on Tues, Wed and Thurs. No way can I get to the gym after class, or before, so I think my best bet is to train my body to get up sooner, get a workout in, then head to work. And on those days, head to class. Those are going to be busy and tiring days, but if I am going to fully commit to changing my lifestyle for my health and taking this weight off... well there you go.

And I think this new schedule is going to start come Monday. Or rather I am going to *try* to get started then, if not then during next week or the week after. I want Anubis to get used to me getting up that early and him getting crated that early. I'd be leaving the house around the same time as masteralida, so it's not like he'd be crated and still have to hear her meandering around and it won't be on her shoulders to crate him for me before she leaves. She already has to crate Orion, no need for her to worry about corralling a second dog, especially since he has to get his thundershirt on before being crated. This way, not only will I be accustomed to doing this come September, but Anubis will too.

This got way more long winded then I had originally intended. Must have had a lot to say. I also need a new mood theme. I'm over my TVD one.
