The Search Continues
Alright, so I wound up finding a place I really liked. So much so that I made an offer. here is what happened:
The place was listed at $134k
It was last assessed as $128k
My offer: $130k and for them to pay $4k in closing.
Their counter offer: The agreed to the 4k in closing, but bumped the price up to $135k.
Granted, I'm no expert home buyer. But to me, it takes balls to try to sell something for more than originally advertised. I was a bit wary after hearing that counter offer, and after thinking about it and talking it out with my parents... I rejected it. Not like I'm in a situation where I NEED to find a place ASAP.
So the search continues.
