You know, I've read multiple things about bad customer service where the employee is on the phone while a customer is in the store standing right there. But they never talk about the flip side of that... a customer on a cell phone when an employee is trying to help them. It pisses me the fuck off. Hell, I've gotten to the point where if I see someone at the counter who obviously wants something, but is yapping away on their cell, I will flat out ignore them until they get off.
Sometimes though, they are too damned impatient and either ring the bell, or say something to get my attention. Even then, I'll help em, but I'll just give basic, shitty service. Not my fault they are dicks.
