All right I'M BACK, enjoying the fuck out of your recs, or at least the ones I haven't read yet. Anyway, just stopping by to say, ahahahaha I would totally judge you for the bandom rec except that a) I've definitely already read this one, and b) it is goddamn GLORIOUS, it is fucking gorgeous, it is a piece of art, which I know because I've already read it.

...Or rather, when I say I've already read it, I mean my best friend look_alive read it to me over Skype as a bedtime story, which is how 90% of my bandom fic exposure occurs.

She did some art for this one, actually (on LJ | on Tumblr, for higher quality), based on There’s a whole garden blooming inside his chest, curling around his ribcage, queasy shiver of strings in his belly when they’re alone together, champagne rush of nervous anticipation that he’s content to just bask in. from this fic and They pull apart and smile at each other, Spencer’s sweet and lighting his face, and Brendon’s chest is a whole garden, a whole storm. He thinks, there. He thinks, fuck. He wants. from the sequel. She does a lot of bandom-related art... her Tumblr and her LJ (well, the public parts anyway) are like 99% art of the loosely-or-directly-inspired-by-bands-and-bandfic persuasion.

Hee~, I'm glad you think so! Her art really is ridiculously fucking fabulous, I always want to be like OH MY GOD LOOK AT THIS, CAN YOU BELIEVE I KNOW THIS PERSON at everyone. And that piece in particular, it's one of my favorites, and I know how hard and how long she worked on it, and GUH it's just so beautiful. ...But yeah, by all means! She'll be embarrassed incredibly flattered, so.
